Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer who was born in New York City New York on November 22 the 22nd of November, 1984. Her performances have earned her acclaim across a wide spectrum of genres such as the genres of period dramas or thrillers, as well as action films. Johansson grew up within New York City as the daughter an architect and an executive from a production firm. Hunter was twin to their younger sisters. When she was just seven year old, she began auditioning for television commercials. In order to improve her skills, she attended an acting class at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan followed by at the Professional Children's School. When she was eight years old, she starred with Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway musical. At the age of nine her debut film was Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen on the screen in Just Cause (1995), but her first break was with Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters who run away. For The Horse Whisperer, Johansson played a teenage victim of an horrific crash. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more recognition as the troubled teenager Rebecca. Alongside her part on the television show she was also a stage actor for many years. She is known for her outstanding performances in such plays as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith entered the realm of entertainment as a child. When she was a kid she fell in love with acting. Smith was offered the first of many acting roles at the tender age of 6. She created a commercial with Dannon. She decided, like many actresses who are just getting started, to improve her skills in theatre. In addition, she worked on other initiatives across the USA, while Wildflower was her first onstage production. She graduated from her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
